僕が6歳かそこらだったころ、母のドライヤーからモーターを取り出してホバークラフトの模型を作ったんだ。母はものすごく怒って、父に言いつけた。父にはちょっと怒られたけどその後母が見てないところで、バケツいっぱいにまだ使える電子部品のガラクタをくれたんだ。「存分に遊びな」ってね。電池もたくさんくれた。
父は電気技師だったから、嬉しかったんだろうと思う。
